    THE ORGANIZATION
    As a leader in the industry, Wayne Enterprises, Inc. has supplied uniforms, PPE, incentive programs and promotional products to the Petroleum Industry for over 29 years. We pride ourselves in providing quality products along with one-on-one sales and customer service support.

    Wayne Enterprises, Inc. has remained a family owned and operated business since we opened our doors in 1982. With our corporate offices and warehouses located in Houston and our Permian Basin facility in Midland, we have over 54,000 square feet of operational space. Our warehouse facilities are second to none in organization and technical abilities.

    We maintain a large inventory to fulfill our customer’s programs as well as house our embroidery and customization departments, where we have over 108 heads of state of the art direct embroidery machines. This allows us the ability to supply custom branding for our customers, which includes everything from detailed logos, to patches and naming schemes.

    Company History

    In 1982, Jim Kirkman bought a small company called Wayne Davis Uniforms, which was founded in 1977, and changed its name to Wayne Enterprises. To begin his new venture, Jim moved the company to a 2,000 sq. ft. facility off of Spring Branch Drive in Houston, TX, where he and 3 other employees worked.

    Over the next few years, Wayne Enterprises grew to 6 employees and in 1986 the company moved to a 5,000 sq. ft. facility on Brittmoore Road. In 1988, an important step was made towards the growth of Wayne Enterprises with the purchase of its first multi-head computerized embroidery machine.

    As the company continued to grow, another milestone was reached in 2001 when the first online recognition program was launched. By 2006, Wayne Enterprises had grown to 78 employees and expanded the Brittmoore facility to 22, 000 sq. ft. Without anymore room to expand, the company decided to move to its current facility on West Little York with 30,000 sq. ft. In 2008, a second facility was added with 16,000 sq. ft., giving the company a total of 46,000 sq. ft. of operating space.

    Today, Wayne Enterprises continues to grow. In June 2011, opened Wayne Workwear, a Permian Basin facility in Midland, Texas; to help better serve our West Texas customers. The embroidery department has acquired over 90 heads of computerized embroidery machines. In addition, the online presence of Wayne Enterprises has also grown leaps and bounds with over 70,000 users currently utilizing the online programs. Wayne Enterprises started out as a family-owned and operated company in Houston, TX, and has remained that way for almost 30 years.
